Learning Partner for SCALE Education Project (Consultancy)

About the role

The Learning Partner will work with the SCALE team to design and operate a learning system that drives continuous improvement across the project’s five‑year implementation in South Sudan. This consultancy focuses on generating evidence, facilitating reflection, and translating insights into actionable recommendations for programme delivery and policy influence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project’s learning agenda, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives of improving girls’ education.
• Lead evidence‑generation activities, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis of findings.
• Facilitate regular learning cycles, collective reflection sessions, and adaptive decision‑making processes.
• Translate research outcomes into practical guidance for programme staff and policy stakeholders.
• Support knowledge mobilisation through briefs, reports, and presentations for national and international audiences.

Required profile

• Independent consultant with proven expertise in research, learning, and adaptive management within education or development contexts.
• Experience working in fragile, conflict‑affected environments, preferably in Africa.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage diverse stakeholders.
