IT Operations Associate – LAN/WAN Support (SC6)

About the role

The IT Operations Associate will support the delivery, maintenance and optimisation of LAN and WAN infrastructure and voice/data connectivity services at the World Food Programme Country Office in Juba. Reporting to the Foundational IT lead, the role ensures reliable, secure and high‑performance network services that enable both routine business operations and emergency response activities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain LAN/WAN hardware and software components.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Provide voice and data services support for staff and partners.
• Ensure network security standards are applied and documented.
• Collaborate with the IT team to optimise network architecture and capacity.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in IT operations and network support.
• Ability to work in a humanitarian environment and respond to urgent incidents.
