Information Management (Database) Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an Information Management (Database) Associate to support its country office. The role will help develop, maintain, and improve data systems, ensuring data integrity and providing actionable insights for migration‑related programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data systems and analytics tools.
• Support the mission’s in‑house software portfolio and ensure alignment with IOM’s information security standards.
• Provide advice on technology use and process improvements to optimise operational efficiency.
• Participate in the implementation and adoption of digital initiatives and solutions.
• Collect business requirements, prepare documentation, and contribute to efficient application design.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in information management, data analytics, or a related field.
• Understanding of data integrity, security by design, and digital transformation concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and central ICT units.
