Information Management and Accountability Specialist

About the role

The Information Management and Accountability Specialist supports the MEAL Manager in strengthening information management systems, data analysis, visualization and accountability reporting across DRC programmes in South Sudan. Based in Juba, the role ensures the Activities, Indicators and Beneficiary Tracking Tool (AIPTT) is accurately maintained and used for timely monitoring and evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for information management processes, including data collection, storage, analysis, visualization and reporting across all programme sectors.
• Serve as the focal point for the AIPTT system, ensuring project activities, indicators and verification documents are uploaded, updated and quality‑assured.
• Lead setup, maintenance and quality assurance of AIPTT for new projects in coordination with programme, MEAL and field teams.
• Support sector teams, MEAL Officers and field staff to achieve timely and accurate data entry and utilization of the AIPTT.
• Assist the MEAL Manager in proposal development by providing beneficiary reach data, indicator tracking information and other reporting figures.
• Support the digitisation of programme and MEAL tools, including the Community Feedback Mechanism, and develop dashboards for accountability reporting.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the MEAL Manager.
• Works closely with sector teams, MEAL Officers and field teams to ensure data quality and timely reporting.
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) environments is implied.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Activities, Indicators and Beneficiary Tracking Tool (AIPTT).
• Experience using digital data collection and visualization tools.
