FSL Project Officer

About the role

The FSL Project Officer will support the ECHO CASH Consortium project for Save the Children International in Renk, South Sudan. Working closely with the ECHO CASH Project Coordinator and Field Manager, the officer will ensure high‑quality programme delivery, foster collaboration with partners, and uphold SCI’s safeguarding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of ECHO CASH activities, including MPCA and complementary gender, nutrition and protection components.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet SCI and donor contractual requirements, timelines and budgets.
• Assist the Field Manager in developing and executing the programme procurement plan.
• Roll out consortium‑wide tools such as targeting instruments, safety audits and market analyses.
• Organise beneficiary identification, registration and verification processes in collaboration with local stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance to project staff, community members and partner organisations on project procedures.
• Monitor implementation, procurement and phasing plans, and track staff movement with supply‑chain and safety teams.
• Collect and analyse market information regularly to inform decision‑making.
• Participate in multi‑sectoral programme reviews and address capacity gaps within the team.

Required profile

• Experience in humanitarian project management, preferably in cash‑based assistance.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, beneficiary registration and monitoring processes.
• Ability to work effectively with government authorities, NGOs, UN agencies and private‑sector partners.
• Level 3 child safeguarding clearance.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
