Entrepreneurship Teacher

About the role

The Leadership Academy of South Sudan (LASS) seeks an Entrepreneurship Teacher to deliver high‑quality entrepreneurship education to secondary students. The role combines classroom teaching, student mentorship, and participation in the school’s Christian culture and co‑curricular activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and deliver engaging entrepreneurship lessons covering both theory and practical projects.
• Assess student progress through tests, examinations and continuous feedback, maintaining accurate records and report cards.
• Provide pastoral care, guidance and mentorship, managing student behaviour and referring welfare concerns as needed.
• Participate in departmental meetings, co‑curricular events, and uphold safeguarding and school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Entrepreneurship, Business Studies or related field from a recognized institution.
• At least one year of teaching experience at O‑Level or equivalent, with strong Christian character and no criminal record.
• Willingness to live and work in Nimule, South Sudan, and to model the faith‑based values of the organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for lesson preparation, reporting and record‑keeping.
• Ability to write clear reports and educational documentation.
