Cash Transfer Coordinator – Education Cash Assistance

About the role

Save the Children International is recruiting a Cash Transfer Coordinator based in Torit to lead the education‑linked cash and voucher assistance component of the EFASS programme. The role provides technical leadership and oversight to ensure vulnerable children and households receive timely cash support that promotes equitable access to education.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, monitoring and quality assurance of education‑linked cash transfer activities across targeted counties.
• Ensure all cash transfer programming complies with EFASS policies, donor requirements and local regulations.
• Oversee targeting, delivery oversight, accountability mechanisms and monitoring of cash interventions.
• Support rapid‑response cash distributions and early‑recovery programmes for IDPs and returnees.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams (MEAL, Partnership, Community Mobilisation, Monitors) and external partners (government departments, NGOs, UN agencies, WFP).
• Provide technical guidance to the Community Mobiliser and Cash Project Officer.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cash transfer or cash‑for‑education programmes within humanitarian contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, monitoring and accountability frameworks.
• Ability to work with government authorities, NGOs and UN agencies at national and sub‑national levels.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for multi‑stakeholder environments.
