Associate – Operations Support

About the role

The Associate position in Juba supports Médecins Sans Frontières’ medical and humanitarian programmes on a full‑time, on‑site basis. Working closely with medical, logistics and administrative teams, the Associate helps ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations in a challenging field environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate programme activities, schedule meetings and track project timelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate information flow between teams, ensuring compliance with MSF processes and procedures.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and presentations.
• Support the implementation of projects while promoting a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with experience handling documentation and scheduling.
• Ability to collect, review and synthesise information, producing clear basic reports.
• Effective written and spoken English and capacity to work respectfully with diverse colleagues.
• Demonstrated teamwork, time‑management and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced setting.
• Previous experience in humanitarian, non‑profit or health‑related environments is an asset.
• Commitment to MSF’s humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality and independence.
• Relevant post‑secondary education or equivalent professional experience in administration, social sciences, public health or a related field.
