Arabic Translator / Interpreter (On‑call, Remote)

About the role

Allied Talent Partners (ATP) is seeking an experienced Arabic Translator/Interpreter to support a donor‑funded results‑based financing programme in Sudan. The role is on‑call and remote, providing written translation and ad‑hoc verbal interpretation for programme documents, stakeholder communications, and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and proofread programme and communications materials, including one‑pagers, FAQs, outreach content, and RBF documents.
• Translate stakeholder engagement materials such as community notices, grievance‑redress mechanisms, presentations, and KYC/due‑diligence forms.
• Provide consecutive interpretation during workshops, webinars, meetings, and private‑sector engagements as required.
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, confidential, and aligned with established terminology and glossaries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional translation experience.
• Experience with development, infrastructure, energy, or donor‑funded project materials preferred.
• Familiarity with Sudanese or regional terminology is a plus.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in Arabic and professional fluency in English.
