TVET Curriculum Development Specialist

About the role

The TVET Curriculum Development Specialist will provide technical leadership for the ARISE‑GREEN project, designing and accrediting competency‑based training (CBT) curricula for agricultural TVET programmes in South Sudan. Based in Juba, the role ensures curricula align with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Levels 1‑5 and embed green technologies, climate‑smart practices, digital marketing, and gender‑transformative approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Design, adapt, and accredit CBT curricula, modules, and instructional packages for formal, non‑formal and informal pathways.
• Ensure all curricula are fully aligned with South Sudan NQF Levels 1‑5.
• Integrate green technologies, climate‑smart agriculture, digital marketing, and gender‑responsive content into learning frameworks.
• Lead high‑level collaboration with national ministries and institutional partners to institutionalise upgraded curricula.
• Coordinate with field‑based Agri‑TVET coordinators and partner technical teams to support implementation across 12 TVET institutions.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in agricultural education, curriculum development, or a related field.
• Proven experience in TVET curriculum design, CBT development and accreditation processes.
• Knowledge of South Sudan’s National Qualifications Framework and climate‑smart agriculture.
• Experience working with vulnerable youth groups and adherence to Level 2 child safeguarding requirements.
