Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager will lead Zamsell South Sudan’s online presence, driving brand visibility and audience engagement across multiple platforms. This part‑time hybrid position supports online sales and enhances the customer experience through strategic content and community interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule engaging content for all social media channels.
• Optimize social media profiles to reflect brand identity and improve discoverability.
• Respond promptly to comments, messages and community inquiries.
• Monitor industry trends and relevant topics to keep content fresh.
• Coordinate social media campaigns in line with marketing and sales objectives.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust tactics for better results.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of social media activities with overall business goals.

Required profile

• Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) expertise.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to produce brand‑consistent copy.
• Experience developing and executing content strategies for target audiences.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and basic data interpretation.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities suitable for part‑time, hybrid work.
• Previous experience in retail or e‑commerce social media management is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, photo/video editing apps).
• Secondary education completed; additional training in marketing, communications or digital media is a plus.
