Project Manager – RISE Project

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of the RISE grant, ensuring that all project outcomes are achieved in line with donor guidelines and organizational standards. This fixed‑term position will coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee grant implementation, tracking ultimate, intermediate and immediate outcomes.
• Lead participatory planning with stakeholders, ensuring adherence to technical standards and donor requirements.
• Develop and maintain project management tools for planning, monitoring, reporting, risk management and internal communication.
• Prepare and submit work plans, quarterly and annual reports, financial statements and any donor‑required documentation.
• Manage the grant budget, ensure compliance with donor rules, and oversee procurement processes.
• Supervise a diverse project team, conduct performance reviews and ensure staff capacity.
• Coordinate with local government officials, community leaders, donors and partners, applying appropriate accountability frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing donor‑funded projects, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of grant compliance, financial reporting and procurement regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to identify project risks and design effective mitigation measures.
