Logistics Cluster Officer – Field Operations (CST II)

About the role

The World Food Programme is looking for a Logistics Cluster Officer to lead and coordinate multimodal logistics operations for field activities in Bor, South Sudan. Reporting directly to the Head of the Logistics Cluster at the Juba Country Office, the officer will support the delivery of food assistance in one of the world’s most complex humanitarian crises.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multimodal logistics activities in the field.
• Support the Head of Logistics Cluster in implementing logistics plans.
• Ensure logistics operations align with WFP policies and standards.
• Monitor and report on logistics performance and challenges.
• Collaborate with partners, stakeholders and field teams to facilitate timely assistance.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in humanitarian logistics and field operations.
• Ability to work in a complex, crisis‑affected environment.
• Willingness to be based in Bor, South Sudan, for an 11‑month renewable assignment.
• Strong commitment to WFP’s values of integrity, collaboration, commitment, humanity and inclusion.
