Information Management & Accountability Specialist

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is looking for an Information Management & Accountability Specialist to enhance data quality, analysis, and reporting across its South Sudan programmes. Reporting to the MEAL Manager, the specialist will act as the focal point for the Activities, Indicators and Beneficiary Tracking Tool (AIPTT) and support the digitisation of community feedback mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for data collection, management, analysis, visualisation and reporting.
• Maintain and update the AIPTT, ensuring accurate indicator tracking and documentation of verification sources.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and other information products.
• Conduct data cleaning, validation, consolidation and quality checks.
• Support the digitisation and management of Community Feedback Mechanisms, including Kobo tools and trackers.
• Analyse feedback, produce accountability reports and dashboards, and contribute to CHS improvement actions.
• Train and support MEAL, programme and field teams on information management systems and data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information or data management, preferably in a humanitarian context.
• Additional training or certification in MEAL, Information Management, Data Analysis or Accountability is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, data management, online/offline platforms).
• Power BI for data visualisation and dashboard creation.
• Experience managing large datasets and developing databases.
• Familiarity with systems integration, APIs and XML.
