ICT Intern – Technical Support (Juba)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic ICT Intern to join our team in Juba. This role offers hands‑on experience supporting staff with hardware, software and network issues while contributing to the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems for staff.
• Assist in setting up, configuring and deploying computers, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Help maintain the local area network (LAN) and resolve basic connectivity and Wi‑Fi issues.
• Perform routine system checks, apply software updates and support data backup and inventory tracking.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, IT asset logs and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
• Eager to learn, work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Understanding of network protocols and LAN basics.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite.
