Grants Manager

About the role

The Grants Manager oversees day‑to‑day activities of multiple projects within the Grants and Partnership Unit, ensuring high‑quality proposal development, donor reporting, and compliance with IRC and donor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and submission of funding proposals in coordination with program and budget teams.
• Manage donor reporting processes, ensuring timely, high‑quality programmatic and financial reports.
• Maintain grant files, compliance sheets, and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Monitor program compliance with donor and IRC requirements and escalate issues as needed.
• Support preparation, review, and modification of MOUs and grant agreements.
• Represent the Grants Unit in operations meetings and co‑lead meetings at Juba and field locations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in humanitarian or development programs, including leading funding proposal submissions.
• Experience with US government, European, and UN donor regulations.
• Excellent written English and strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a multicultural team in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in budgeting using MS Excel.
