Front Office Manager – Hospitality & Hotels

About the role

The Front Office Manager will lead all front‑office activities in a busy hotel, guaranteeing exceptional guest experiences and seamless daily operations. This role coordinates reception, reservations, housekeeping and other departments to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily front‑office functions including check‑in/check‑out, reservations and guest services.
• Lead, train and supervise the front‑office team to deliver consistent service quality.
• Resolve guest complaints and special requests promptly, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Monitor room availability, occupancy rates and front‑office performance metrics.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Sales, Finance and other hotel departments.
• Oversee accurate billing, cash handling, shift reports and guest record maintenance.
• Maintain hotel policies, SOPs, service standards and safety procedures.
• Prepare operational reports and track front‑office KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel front‑office operations, with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Experience in 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, guest‑relations and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• International hospitality experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel PMS, preferably Opera.
