Field Coordinator – Sobat, South Sudan

About the role

Solidarités International is seeking a Field Coordinator for its Sobat project in South Sudan. The position will support the organization’s humanitarian response, focusing on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions and related food security activities. SI has been operating in South Sudan since 2006 and, for more than 40 years, provides assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters, meeting basic needs for food, water and shelter. With a presence in 26 countries and a team of about 3,200 staff and volunteers, SI works with professionalism and respect for cultural norms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters, meeting basic needs for food, water and shelter.
• Promote access to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene to combat diseases linked to unsafe water.
• Support food security and livelihoods initiatives as part of the project’s broader objectives.
