Facility Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facility Manager to oversee the comprehensive maintenance and operational functions of our facilities. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the management and upkeep of a furnished apartment complex, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, train and supervise on‑site teams including front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and security staff.
• Coordinate all maintenance and repair activities, manage inventory, and ensure units are guest‑ready.
• Provide exceptional resident and guest service, handling inquiries, concerns and fostering strong tenant relationships.
• Develop, manage and track the property’s budget, implementing cost‑effective measures while meeting financial targets.
• Drive occupancy and leasing efforts by marketing units, conducting tours, screening tenants and managing lease agreements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing and housing regulations, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns and generate new business leads.
• Prepare regular reports on occupancy, revenue, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities, building operations or property management, including oversight of maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations, with ability to implement OSHA‑compliant procedures.
• Solid mechanical background covering HVAC, electrical (high and low voltage), plumbing systems and schematics interpretation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using CMMS platforms for work‑order management.
• Demonstrated project‑management skills, capable of planning, executing and overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
