Agri-TVET Officer

About the role

The Agri-TVET Officer will support the ARISE‑GREEN programme in Kapoeta County, South Sudan. Working directly with public TVET centres and community‑based training sites, the officer ensures that agricultural competency‑based training is delivered effectively to vulnerable youth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily on‑site operational support to TVET centres and Centres of Excellence, ensuring training routines run smoothly.
• Monitor delivery of practical Competency‑Based Training (CBT) modules and verify that instructors have required materials, logs and utilities.
• Assist in organising capacity‑building workshops and refresher training for local TVET instructors.
• Track student attendance, progress and verify deployment of agricultural equipment.
• Maintain liaison with community networks, report on field activities and support the implementation of project monitoring tools.

Required profile

• Experience supporting agricultural or vocational training programmes, preferably in a field setting.
• Familiarity with TVET institutions, competency‑based training approaches and community engagement.
• Ability to work independently on‑site, manage logistics and maintain accurate records.
