Agri-TVET Coordinator – Torit County (ARISE Programme)

About the role

The Agri‑TVET Coordinator will lead the field implementation of the ARISE‑GREEN programme in Torit County. Based at the state/county level, the incumbent ensures that agricultural TVET activities are delivered to the highest quality, in line with the project workplan and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day field activities and provide technical oversight for all ARISE‑GREEN components within the assigned hub.
• Coordinate capacity‑building for public TVET institutions, practical training delivery, and private‑sector engagement.
• Manage relationships with local TVET centre administrations, county authorities and private‑sector networks.
• Ensure youth support structures and competency‑based training are implemented according to project standards.
• Report progress and field insights to the Consortium Programme Manager – ARISE.
• Supervise Agric TVET Officers reporting to the post.

Required profile

• Willingness to work on‑site in Torit County and travel to neighbouring hubs (Magwi, Kapoeta).
• Ability to interact with children and young people under Child Safeguarding Level 2 requirements.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with local authorities and private‑sector partners.
• Commitment to the 12‑month contract starting 1 September 2026.
