Agri-TVET Coordinator

About the role

The Agri‑TVET Coordinator will be based in Torit County and will manage the day‑to‑day implementation of the ARISE‑GREEN project activities in the assigned hub. The role ensures that agricultural TVET capacity building, practical training delivery and private‑sector engagement are carried out to the highest quality standards and in line with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead direct execution of all project activities within the assigned county/hub (Torit, Magwi or Kapoeta) in strict alignment with the workplan.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for TVET institutional capacity building and competency‑based training.
• Coordinate with local TVET centre administrations, county authorities and private‑sector networks.
• Ensure compliance with donor reporting and monitoring requirements.
• Report to the Consortium Programme Manager‑ARISE and supervise any Agric TVET Officers reporting to the post.

Required profile

• Based at state/county level (Torit, Magwi or Kapoeta) with responsibility for field‑level execution.
• Experience in agricultural technical and vocational education and training programmes.
• Ability to work with vulnerable youth groups, including IDPs, returnees and persons with disabilities.
• Strong coordination skills with local authorities and private‑sector partners.
