Agri-TVET Coordinator – ARISE Programme (2 positions)

About the role

The Agri‑TVET Coordinator will be based in Torit County and will lead the day‑to‑day field execution, technical oversight and local coordination of the ARISE‑GREEN project activities. Reporting to the Consortium Programme Manager, the role ensures that TVET capacity building, practical training delivery, private‑sector engagement and youth support structures are implemented to the highest quality and in line with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage field‑level implementation of ARISE‑GREEN activities across the assigned hub (Torit, Magwi, Kapoeta).
• Provide technical oversight for TVET institutions, ensuring competency‑based training aligns with green agri‑value chain needs.
• Coordinate with local TVET centre administrations, county authorities and private‑sector partners to facilitate training and employment opportunities.
• Monitor progress, collect field insights and feed them into the central project framework.
• Supervise Agri‑TVET Officers and ensure compliance with child safeguarding Level 2 requirements.
• Prepare regular reports and ensure adherence to the project workplan and donor guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience in agricultural vocational training, TVET systems or related development projects.
• Familiarity with South Sudan’s county‑level administrative structures and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently in remote field settings and manage a small team.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and inclusive youth support.
