Logistics Specialist (P-3) – Fixed Term – Juba, South Sudan

About the role

The Logistics Specialist provides technical oversight for UNICEF South Sudan’s logistics, warehousing and distribution operations. Reporting to the Senior Supply & Logistics Manager, the role ensures the efficient movement, storage and delivery of supplies for both programme activities and emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments, customs clearance and warehousing across the country.
• Manage inventory, transport planning and last‑mile distribution to field locations.
• Oversee logistics contracts and service provider performance.
• Collaborate with supply, programme, operations, field offices, government counterparts and implementing partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, procurement, public health, international development or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply management, logistics, warehouse or inventory management, customs compliance, or humanitarian emergency response.
• Fluency in English.
