General Manager – ISP & VSAT Services

About the role

The General Manager will lead the overall management and operation of our Internet Service Provider and VSAT services in South Sudan. This senior position combines operational oversight, sales leadership and strategic growth responsibilities to ensure reliable service delivery, customer satisfaction and revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily ISP and VSAT operations, ensuring service reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the customer base and increase revenue.
• Identify new market opportunities, forge partnerships and negotiate high‑value contracts.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance and report key metrics to senior management.
• Lead, coach and develop cross‑functional teams, setting clear goals and tracking performance.
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, data security and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of managerial experience in telecommunications or ISP sector with a strong sales focus.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering sales strategies that meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Deep knowledge of satellite and wireless communications, internet services and regulatory environments.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control and performance analysis.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities to inspire and drive high‑performing teams.
