ICT Intern – Juba, South Sudan

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic ICT Intern to join our team in Juba, South Sudan. The intern will support daily IT operations, gaining hands‑on experience in hardware, software and network troubleshooting while assisting staff across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line help‑desk support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues for staff.
• Assist in the setup, configuration and deployment of computers, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Help maintain the local area network (LAN) and troubleshoot basic connectivity and Wi‑Fi problems.
• Perform routine system maintenance, apply software updates, and support data backup and inventory tracking.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, IT asset logs and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Customer‑service oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with network protocols and Microsoft 365.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting capabilities.
